What are your COVID-19 safety procedures?

Our community's safety is our #1 priority. That's why we are closely monitoring CDC guidelines and adjusting our protocols accordingly. 1. All students participating in class and not vaccinated against COVID-19 must wear a facial covering at all times 3. Hand sanitizer provided upon arrival 5. What ages do you teach?

We accept students ages 4 and up! You are never too old to start, we have had students start as wise as 65 years old!
Why should I choose Setting Sun Dojo as my martial arts school?

We believe that martial arts of any style is highly benefitial to all individuals lives. We highly encourage our students and community members to develop a love of martial arts as a whole, not just one specific style. We believe in our Dojo community and the goodness it brings to our students' lives. We understand and value the journey we are on together as we both work to make you the best version of who you can be - not just as a martial artist, but as a person! How long does it take to get a black belt?

Depending on the student's age and weekly attendance, it usually takes 5-8 years to earn a black belt in Go Jiu Bujitsu. Your journey to your black belt will be unique and individual to your martial arts goals.
How much do your memberships cost?

Our goal is to find the best martial arts school for you and your family, and we understand that some families are looking for a different martial arts experience. That is why we offer all new Setting Sun Dojo students a 2 week free trial before you register to ensure you are as commited to us as we are to you! After your 2 week free trial, we charge our memberships on a monthly basis. We operate our Dojo like a typical fitness gym membership, meaning we do not pro-rate our classes. We charge $189/mo per student ($270/mo for 2 family students, $333/mo for 3+family students) and that price includes your first GI (martial arts uniform), 2 weekly classes, and 1 optional weekend class that is used for additional training or a make-up class in case you miss a class during the week.
